Role: Accessibility Specialist
Location: Remote
Job Type: Fulltime

Key Responsibilities:
Passionate about accessibility, with a broad knowledge of accessibility barriers and the tools and techniques for overcoming them. Experience and expert knowledge of accessibility standards - WCAG 2.1/2.0, ADA Section 508.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead delivery for specific large and strategic clients that are being performed by offshore cross-functional teams
- Lead scope definition, communicate with the client, and coordinate with offshore teams
- Identifying and suggesting potential solutions/recommendations for accessibility barriers based on WCAG 2.1/2.0 standards
- Work with development teams in offshore and the client to define Accessibility test strategies
- Participate in carrying out comprehensive Accessibility testing of Web and Mobile applications
- Write VPAT Reports
- Present overall delivery status, facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing, and organized manner
- Participating in accessibility Events, Conferences, and also conducting Webinars.
Requirements
- 10+ years in the digital accessibility – Expertise in Mobile and Web application testing
- Good understanding of Web Content and Mobile Accessibility Standards
- Assistive Technology Tools: JAWS, NVDA, TalkBack, VoiceOver, switch device, ZoomText, Dragon Naturally Speaking, Voice Control
- Experience using testing tools: aXe, WAVE, Color Contrast Analyzer, Accessible Name & Description Inspector (ANDI),
- Performing accessibility testing on Windows/macOS with various browsers including Chrome/Safari/Firefox/IE
- Proficient in understanding and authoring test strategies and plans for WAI-ARIA
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide consulting or recommendations on complex technical issues
- Good knowledge around (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Certification:
- IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
- Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Certification
