This role is onsite in San Francisco, CA and Burlingame, CA. (3-4 daays in SF office and 1-2 days in Burlingame office in the week based on the tasks.

Job Description - IT Desktop Specialist
A successful candidate for this role has both technical solid IT background and excellent customer service skills. This role requires competent desktop support skills, practical communication skills, both verbal and written, a proven drive for success and growth. The primary duties of this position are to timely response to support requests, resolve issues, provision and maintain IT endpoint equipment, A/V Systems, on-boarding and off-boarding activities.  
·         Enthusiastically provide desktop support as needed via face-to-face interaction, slack, email, telephone, and video conferencing
·         Triage and escalate any issues related to our corporate IT infrastructure for both internally hosted and cloud services. It includes services like O365 E-mail, MS-Office, Google workspace,  printers, wired and wireless networks, audio, video conferencing, Building Access & Security, Cisco Switch, Palo Alto Firewall, VPN, ISP's 
·         Resolve IT-related incidents and service requests using JIRA Service Desk; prepare weekly, and monthly JIRA reports
·         Perform desktop support duties, including level-1 troubleshooting of desktop applications and network issues and engaging with engineering and network consultants as needed
·         Maintain Microsoft Active Directory and AWS Single Sign-On (SSO) platform for user provisioning and integration with business applications
·         Track and maintain office equipment inventory and health of machines using Monitoring, Asset Management, and EndPoint Security tools
·         Maintaining our technical facilities to the highest standard through cable management, workstation installations, rack-mounting, etc.
·         Completing documentation on confluence and other technical projects and tasks as needed
Required Skills
·         3+ years of experience in provisioning and managing users in hosted Exchange, Microsoft Office365, G-Suite, and Microsoft Active Directory, and triage permissions/access-related issues
·         3+ years of experience in configuring user machines with business applications on MacOSX and Windows
·         Experienced in coordinating work with third-party vendors such as ISP providers, managed printer services, business applications support teams, network consultants
·         Experienced in managing essential functions of Cisco Switches and Palo Alto Firewalls
·         Ability to identify security issues and concerns and escalate as needed
·         Ability to lift 50 lbs of hardware equipment, work on ladders for wireless system maintenance, etc.
·         Excellent interpersonal skills: such as communication skills, active listening, and customer-centric support
·         Passionate in learning and taking on increasingly complex tasks and independent ability to research technical problems and document solutions 
·         Willingness to work flexible/odd hours at times, based on needs
