Job Description

DSA, Inc. is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist with an ACTIVE TS/SCI to support our DoD client's DevSecOps implementation. As part of our Cybersecurity team, you will:

Define, communicate and implement cloud security policy across all client platforms
Work with developers to ensure systems remain compliant with relevant authorities
Monitor relevant policies and regulations for changes that may affect the system
Maintain official client records for systems across three domains
Provide/ develop supporting evidence for RMF IA Controls
Monitor DISA and other authority repositories for IAVMs and relevant security bulletins and alerts
Develop and/or maintain policies and procedures documentation

You may also be called upon to strengthen the Organization's Cybersecurity posture by:

Creating and maintaining Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M), waiver and technical feasibility documentation while ensuring the technical accuracy of all specified BOEs.
Providing technical security control guidance and recommendations, to include those requirements found in NIST 800-53, Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) 6/3.
Designing and implementing security solutions in a multi-tenant Windows and Linux environment on commercial cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure).

Required Qualifications
At least five years' experience securing computer systems, performing accreditation activities, writing security plans, and implementing automated Cloud based security principles and systems.
Experience planning, implementing, monitoring, and managing continuous risk evaluation engines.
Knowledge of DoD A&A processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools
Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with NIST 800-53
Experience with DISA STIGs
Knowledge of terminology, processes, and regulations applicable to IT system A&A for the RMF
Knowledge of secure IT architecture, computing hardware, and software
Experience with planning, implementing, monitoring, and managing continuous monitoring solutions
Experience with eMASS tools
Strong written and verbal communications skills


Desired Qualifications
CISSP or CCSP certification
Experience with securing computer systems, performing DoD accreditation activities, and writing security plans
Experience with scripts to provide automated scanning or monitoring solutions
Experience in working with cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, particularly Infrastructure as a Service
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Windows system administration
Experience with the US Army, DoD, or intelligence community Information Assurance (IA), including Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or Information Assurance Manager (IAM) roles preferred
Knowledge of terminology and federal regulations applicable to specification, development, acquisition, and maintenance of IT systems
Experience with Agile Development techniques and ceremonies
