Role: Account Manager
Location: Milpitas, CA
Duration: Full Time/Permanent

As an Account Manager you will be working under one of our seasoned Client Partners (CP) to build and grow customer relationships and expand GSPANN’s presence at a customer.  This is an excellent opportunity for a junior IT Services salesperson looking to take their career to the next level.  You will be responsible for supporting the CP with operational activities and for meeting Revenue Targets through proactive demand creation based on customer needs and business requirements.

  • The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and business development and building client relationships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth and provide delivery oversight to make sure that project deliverables and timelines are met
  • Be the “trusted advisor” to the client and provide a mix of strategic, business, and technology guidance
  • Be comfortable in groups and teams and be able to understand customer’s requirements and articulate the customer’s needs internally
  • Understand and track open positions and work with the practice teams to make sure projects and open positions are staffed in time
  • Collaborate with both practice and delivery teams as well as with technology partner

Skills and Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of IT Services or IT Staffing Sales experience
  • Experience in selling eCommerce, Marketing, and Web technologies
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills
  • Ability to set expectations with clients and provide status updates, and proactively resolve issues and roadblocks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong technical skills
  • Must be organized and have good time management skills, and an ability to manage multiple tasks and track and resolve issues
  • Must be able to update proposals and bring proactive ideas to the table
  • Must have drive and determination, and while being flexible have the ability to wear multiple hats.
