Job Description

Administration of an Enterprise Windows Active Directory environment at the National Academies. Manages file & print, and application servers. Responsible for the support of complex Windows AD/IIS systems and troubleshoot problems as required. This includes creating accounts, creating print queues, troubleshoot web server and resolve issues. This position will be responsible for enterprise level user and Organizational Unit management in different Active Directory Domain environments. The cohesive team environment requires an individual to work and communicate exceeding well with others. The selected individual will have the opportunity to participate in many facets of the organization and help develop new system administration processes.


  1. Performs User Account Administration, Group Policy Administration, Directory Permission Administration, Active Directory Domain/OU Administration, MS Exchange User Administration, Public Folder Administration.
  2. Performs Login Script Development, and Administration.
  3. Manages and maintain IP Management of the Academies DHCP.
  4. Manages network printers, and queues.
  5. IP assignment to all servers, and appliances per requests.
  6. Manages Radius, and RSA s SecurID user accounts.
  7. Manages Comm Server accounts.
  8. Participates in change management process
  9. Manages, allocates, and monitors disk space usage across all National Academies file servers.
  10. Monitors trouble ticket system administration reports on a daily basis to ensure service level agreement (SLA) compliance.
  11. Unix User Administration a plus.
