1 yr plus contract possible right to hire for an IT Help desk specialist – providing IT support for Hardware, Software, Networks, Linux Servers, hardware and mobile devices.
All work is being done REMOTELY - Candidates need to have High speed internet.
Candidates must have 2-4 years IT help desk experience. AAS Degree or A+, Net + certification.
Hours the help desk covers: 6am-10pm - after training candidates assigned a 4, 10 hour shift to include one weekend day (ex. Sun-Wed or similar shift).
There will be 2-3 weeks of training during- normal working hours.
Duties include: Provide routine help desk – technical phone support for hardware and software issues.
Windows operating systems, PC Connectivity issues, Cisco routers and switches – configuration and troubleshooting – executing command prompts ,
Linux/Unix and server support. (Command line)
Shell and SQL scripting – executing scripts, error monitoring, configuration and support.
