Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Support Engineer II. This position is 100% remote. A Support Professional is responsible for providing quality support for Azure Active Directory with a high degree of customer satisfaction; provide responsive and reliable technical solutions and information to company customers.

Responsibilities:
* Support Engineer will represent the company and communicate with corporate customers via telephone, written correspondence, or electronic service in regard to finding solutions for technically complex problems identified in company products
* Solve highly complex level of problems, involving broad, in-depth product knowledge or in-depth product specialty; That may include support of additional product line
* Responsible for efficiently managing the relationship with these customers and thoroughly documenting their cases
* As a Support Engineer, you collaborate on cross-team and cross-product technical issues by working with resources from other groups as needed to resolve customer issues; Collaborate with Tech Leads and escalation resources when appropriate
* Participate in case triage meetings to share knowledge with other engineers
* Consistently share best practices with team members

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in administering Microsoft Windows 2012, Windows 2016 and Windows 2019 Servers
* Azure Administrator/Azure Active Directory hands on troubleshooting experience
* Hands-on experience on Azure Active Directory components like AADConnect, Azure AD Domain Services, B2B, B2C, MFA etc.
* Good understanding and hands-on on ADFS or other federation technologies
* In-depth understanding and experience on Windows Active Directory Services (including ADS, Group Policies, FSMO Roles, DNS Zones, Replication, PKI, Migration etc.), knowledge of Authentication protocols
* Knowledge and experience of other cloud technologies like O365, Exchange Online, Intune
* Good English communication skills - spoken and written (including technical writing)
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent customer Service skills and effective learning skills
* Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
* The position requires working in late shifts (up to 7 PM PST) and provide Weekend Support, depending on business needs
* The manager is looking for candidates who are willing to learn, have on-prem Active Directory, and customer support experience; Azure Active Directory knowledge is a plus

Critical Exposure areas & Technical Specifications:
* Good Azure Active Directory (else Windows Active Directory) foundations
* Background in Microsoft products and technologies
* Good to have: Azure certifications, SQL knowledge
