Job Description

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for setup and maintenance of servers, and corporate IT systems. The environment contains Windows Servers and RHEL based Linux Servers, Windows workstations, WAN, LAN, VPN, VMware, O365 E5, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint, Active Directory, VOIP, and custom applications.

This person will have to go into the office (Clearwater, FL) a few days a month when necessary.  It will be 90%+ remote work.

" iSCSI networking to 10gig speeds
" Microsoft Remote Desktop Servers with HP Thin Clients
" MFA all critical systems
" Troubleshoot TCP/IP networking protocols and related network services
" Experience with troubleshooting remote users, VPN issues, and MFA troubles in both Windows and Mac environments
" Documenting new and existing infrastructure
" Create documentation for technology functions
" Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments
" Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
" Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
" Backup and Recovery; Perform/Oversee nightly backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
" Research new technologies to reduce costs and/or improve productivity
" Maintain IT inventory system
" Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
" Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
" Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
" Troubleshoot, research, resolve and document technical problems and security incidents.
