Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Provide timely and effective support/communication to meet the customer s expectation via telephone or email.
  • Must be able to take direction from the team lead / supervisor and other senior leadership.
  • Must be able to build strong internal relationships amongst various IT and Clinical Teams.
  • Agent will be logged in and focused on user's real time problem resolution. Maintains a readiness position at least 90% of each work shift while logged into the telephone ACD queue.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance problems using critical thinking and process of elimination
  • Works independently and maintains a high degree of professional conduct at all times.
  • Performs related duties as assigned and unrelated duties as requested.
  • Job requires working rotating scheduled weekends. Overtime provided as needed.
  • Employee will be exposed to advanced concepts and techniques and encouraged to improve skill set while on the job and to innovate.

Competency/Qualifications/Positions Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of work experience providing Help Desk/ technical support in a clinical environment (preferred).
  • Medical Imaging Application experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate by phone or in person.
  • Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical & non- technical colleagues at all levels within the organization.
  • Maintain a first class level of user support ensuring that all users are treated efficiently & in an appropriate manor.
  • Have an understanding and demonstrates sensitivity to the cultural diversity of patients, staff and visitors.
  • Proficiency with all current Windows operating systems and products is mandatory.
  • Proficiency with all current Microsoft Office systems & products is mandatory.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast changing environment
  • Knowledge of information technology products and services.
  • Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, multiple priorities and follow through on projects to completion.
  • Ability to work a shift schedule (nights and weekends included)
  • Regular attendance and punctual employee presence. Logs in promptly at designated work hours.
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver s license.
  • Job requires working rotating scheduled weekends and nights. Overtime provided as needed.
  • Must be able to remain in a sitting position for up to 90% of the workday.
