Job Description

Our preferred client, located in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking to hire a Helpdesk Technician.  This position is contract/contract to hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely Tier I Helpdesk support to all internal staff
  • Technology Maintenance: manage user accounts for external carrier websites, assist IT department in upgrades to Company’s software, assist in maintenance of all Company IT hardware, maintain accurate inventory of Company hardware/software
  • Develop end-user documentation and training materials under direction of the IT team

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, required
  • Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
  • A strong working knowledge and support of computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Familiarity with VMWare desktop virtualization preferred
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
