Job Summary: Sell software products and services for a global leader in Integration solutions to high-level business and IT management. This dynamic Sales Specialist is needed to work in the Central territory selling Information Builders iWay products and services. The position reports to the Vice President of iWay Sales. Job Requirements: Must Possess:
  • 5+ years successful track record exceeding revenue goals in large-ticket business software sales, especially in the areas of Business Intelligence solutions, application development software, reporting tools, or integration software. A College Degree preferably in a business and/or technical discipline. Strong communication, and effective presentation, time management and organization skills.
  • Experience and the ability to deal with all levels of management in large organizations (from middle management to C level.)
  • The ability to understand how to pragmatically apply technical solutions to solve business problems complete with return on investment (ROI) analysis.
  • Experience in dealing with complex procurement processes from identifying an opportunity, through qualification of the opportunity, to closing and negotiating final terms and conditions.
  • The ability to maintain a high sales call activity, and strong telephone prospecting skills.
  • Be an energetic self-starter and possess an excellent knowledge of the industry marketplace and business drivers. Job Resources:
    • A local team of System Architects and Engineers, Sales Support Specialists, and Marketing Representatives
    • In-house Consulting Organization
    • In-house Marketing Organization providing lead-generating programs, collateral and Web site production
    • World-class customer support
    • Experience building some of the most interesting, award winning business applications in the industry todayRequired Technology Skills:
      • EAI/ESB Product sales experience (i.e. IBM Websphere, Tibco, Sonic, SAG/Webmethods, Oracle, SAP XI/PI, etc)
      • Data Integration sales experience (i.e. Data Quality, Master Data Management, ETL, Data Warehousing, etc)
      • B2B exchange tool and marketplace awareness
      • Solid understanding of Messaging products and technologies
      • Broad knowledge of computing platforms and operation systemsRequired Sales Skills:
        • Proven track record in prospecting new account territories
        • Active contact list in the territory a plus
        • Prior successful experience in the integration market a plus
        • Proven software sales track record matching technology to solutionMajor duties will include:
          • Achieving quota target for iWay Software
          • Independently create new sales opportunities
          • Assist in the developing territory sales reps iWay identification and qualification skills
          • Develop and maintain relationships with SIs/Consultants
