Role: Senior ERP Analyst / Oracle EBS SCM analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Job Purpose

Client is seeking a self-driven functional leader within the IT Team who will actively partner with multiple cross functional teams to drive efficiencies throughout domestic and international markets via the deployment and support of ERP applications and tools. The Senior ERP Analyst will proactively administer the ERP application and direct corresponding supported functional business processes with the intent of minimizing waste and excess activity within day to day operations.  Main activities will include gathering business requirements, soliciting feedback to optimize operational processes, aligning business partners, configuring ERP application, documenting setup, projects tasks and plans, test cases and data validation, conducting user acceptance testing, and production "go-live" activities.


Summary of Essential Responsibilities:

  • Actively strive to provide superior user experience within ERP application for business partners across all markets
  • Proactively work to troubleshoot and resolve system issues while continually identifying areas of improvement throughout each business process used by the respective ERP application
  • Provide regular workshops and training to help users maintain understanding of capabilities within the ERP application
  • Automate and maintain reoccurring reports and system generated processes to help measure the efficiency of business processes and operational tasks
  • Regularly manage projects and tasks associated with system development, deployment and support
  • Provide technical and tactical knowledge to support various business processes surrounding day to day operations managed by ERP application
  • Provide documentation and training materials for deployed business processes and system configurations
  • Support various business processes including financials, supply chain, inventory order management, logistics and procurement
  • Assist in developing and defining corporate ERP roadmap that strategically aligns with key business objectives and goals
  • Maintain understanding and knowledge of evolving ERP applications and related technology trends surrounding the support for identified business processes and operations


Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance or other related degree
  • 5-10 years ERP application support, Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud ERP preferred
  • 2-5 years supporting Oracle EBS ASCP , Inventory, Order Management and Purchasing preferred
  • Strong understanding of underlying data structure surround ERP applications, tables and views with the ability to access data via SQL
  • Proven understanding of business processes supported by ERP applications
  • Demonstrates empathy and sound understanding of client needs while having the ability to provide direction and guidance towards tools and processes to improve efficiencies
  • Effective communicator across different cultures, geographic locations and personalities
  • Proactive and self driven with ability and desire to solve problems
  • Experience working in a team-oriented , collaborative
