Job Description

ACC RPA - Currently all personnel are working remotely but when COVID is over will go back to office

 Provide assistance in requirements development and modernization of airborne ISR aircraft and ground station systems including radios, radars, satellites, and information networks in support of the RPA Defense Avionics and Communications systems. Meet joint interoperability and spectrum compliance of existing architectures and network centric information domain


Evaluate engineering solutions to ensure they meet communications requirements
Provide communications support for the Air Combat Command RPA systems operations and user requirements at working groups, conferences, program management and design reviews,
SATAFs, Site Surveys, and deployments


Coordinate engineering site surveys to build communications architecture for system worldwide bed down
Assist in development of requirements and manages modernization projects for narrowband
SATCOM to include integration with the Joint Ariel Layer network, Battlefield Airborne
Communications Node (BACN), RQ-4;

Instantiates INMARSAT upgraded services and UHF SATCOM migration to UHF SATCOM Integrated Waveform and then Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) which replace UHF SATCOM. Provide support in the modernization of airborne radios, radar, SATCOM, and information networks.
Desired Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSA): Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or the combination of: Associate’s degree from an accredited university AND twelve (12) years of experience (may be the combination of active duty, government service and/or contractor time) in operations, staff or working RQ-4, AF ISR, Communications and IT systems Minimum three (3) year experience on USAF MAJCOM or higher level staff (combination of active duty, government service and/or contractor)

Knowledge of Federal Budget and Resource Allocation process and procedures in support of ACC/A5IH, including but not limited to RQ-4
Knowledge of the process and procedures in which ACC programs and budgets are developed, staffed and approved by Air Force
Current knowledge and understanding of RQ-4 and how it is employed.
Familiarity with CAM sustainment funding and processes
Familiarity developing JCIDS and QRC documents and processes
