Description Job Description:
Leidos is in need of a software applications developer to support a dynamic and exciting software development program. This position will be part of a team of applications developers supporting multiple projects which include high profile high visibility projects offering technical learning opportunities. These projects are all within the cloud and support multiple mission partners. The ideal candidate will have AWS experience developing for the cloud to include complete secure cloud integrations, optimizing cloud connectivity, and managed cloud services. This position is located in Northern Virginia and does not require travel. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required in order to be considered.
Responsibilities of the Software Applications Developer in this role consist of flexibility and willingness to develop multiple applications simultaneously. A strong desire for continuous advancement is desirable as this role could at times need to learn new technologies to support customer mission. Daily participation in 15 minute scrum meetings and collaboration with IT PMs required. Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
TS/SCI with Poly
Requires BS and at least 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 -8 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience with Node/Or willingness to learn Node
List additional skills and experience that is "nice to have" but not required.
• The willingness to learn new technologies such as PHP or other COTS products and/or languages
• AWS Development
• Experience developing HTML views with CSS
• Developing with AngularJS services
