Sr. API Engineer

Title:  Sr. API Engineer

Contract: Ongoing contract

Location: Charlotte, NC (CLT) - need to currently be local

Must Haves:

• GraphQL experience on the backend
• Terraform experience with AWS
• Experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs with Node.js
• Bachelor's degree
• Mid-level (5 years) or Senior-level (8 years) experience
• 100% individual contributor who takes accountability and responsibility for assigned work

Nice to Haves:

• Some UI experience (e.g., React) or willingness to learn
• Prior Ally experience
• Not specifically financial services experience

About the Position / Current Initiatives:

The team is working on Graph APIs and fine-grain authorization, building their own version for a specific use case.

This project will continue until early next year.

About the Team Structure + Culture:

The team consists of 4 junior-to-mid-level developers.

No seniors report directly to the manager, but Raghu does have some senior team members.

The team operates in a close-knit, agile environment with a lot of ownership of their technology and openness to solutions.
