Role: GenAI Python Systems Engineer-Director

Location: Chicago, IL:: Boston, MA:: Denver, CO:: *However, location is flexible. Travel: 80%; if not at client, 50% in the office

Way of Working: This role has a Hybrid profile, which means that you will be expected to work an average of 50% of the time at a Client office, client site or other in-person location. 
Technical Skills:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Database Management: Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Cloud Platforms and Tools: Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform DevOps services, Use of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager templates, and Terraform. Implementation of data integration solutions using AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Platform Functions, Google Cloud Platform Dataproc, and Dataflow.
• Data Architecture and Management: Design and implementation of data architecture strategies, Development and documentation of data models, data flow diagrams, and data architecture guidelines. Management of data warehouses and data lakes using services like AWS S3, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL DB, and Google Cloud Platform Cloud Storage.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker, including writing Docker files and managing containerized deployments.
• Machine Learning and AI: Familiarity with machine learning and data science workflows, Understanding of AI techniques that enhance LLMs, such as AI Agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Data Security and Governance: Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices. Implementation of IAM roles and policies to manage access and permissions within AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Optimization and Troubleshooting: Optimization of cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability. Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines, data warehouses, and workflows to ensure data quality, system reliability, performance, and cost management.
• Certification in Cloud Platforms [e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Data Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate,] is a plus
