What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or technical (engineering) degree preferred.
7+ years of product management experience with a strong background in payments, ecommerce or related fields with a customer focus.
3+ years of experience in the payments domain; deep understanding of payment flows, integrating payment methods, stored value programs, or loyalty programs.
Data-driven mindset-comfortable with SQL, dashboarding tools, experimentation frameworks & hypothesis testing
Deep analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative, in order to apply these to successful business decisions driving consumer-centered products
Asks the right questions to formulate product perspective and define requirements
Balances technical and business acumen; able to communicate what is possible and what will have the biggest impact on business
Excellent collaboration skills-able to influence across engineering, analytics, design, marketing, and external partners independently and with very minimal supervision.
Experience with agile development process
Relentless execution focus; proven ability to ship impactful products quickly and iteratively.
What You Will Accomplish
Loyalty & Wallet (Months 1-3): (i) Define a product vision and strategy for select wallet and loyalty offerings along with success metrics of features and optimizations. (ii) Partner with design, engineering, analytics, and marketing to develop a compelling value proposition. (ii) Synthesize customer insights, market research, and internal stakeholder discussions, including technical discussions with engineering, into product requirements that enhance engagement, retention, and wallet adoption.
Forms of Payment Optimization (Months 4-6): (i) Identify optimization opportunities across payment methods, approval rates, and processing costs. (ii) Collaborate with payment partners, risk, and platform engineering to test and implement solutions. (iii) Drive initiatives that balance user experience with business performance.
Core Product Management: (i) Own roadmap and prioritization for your focus areas, including setting the product backlog prioritization balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform investments. (ii) Define hypotheses, A/B test improvements, and implement validated winners. (iii) Communicate strategies, progress, and trade-offs effectively with leadership and stakeholders. (iv) Track critical metrics and analyze success of products and/or product enhancements. (v) Manage communications and expectations with cross-functional partners. (iv) Drive multiple products/features end to end from discovery to post-launch/iteration.
