Position: Oracle OTL Functional Consultant
Location: Remote (occasional travel if needed)
Duration: 6 12+ Months Contract
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle OTL (Time & Labor) Functional Consultant to provide post go-live support and enhancements for Oracle Cloud HCM. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in the OTL module, along with working knowledge of Payroll for downstream processes. This role focuses on supporting business operations, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for Oracle Cloud OTL (Time & Labor) in a live production environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to time entry, time cards, approvals, and data flow to Payroll.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of time data.
- Review existing configuration setups and recommend improvements or automation where possible.
- Support testing of patches, new functionalities, and system enhancements.
- Work with technical teams to analyze integration or interface issues involving OTL and downstream systems.
- Document functional changes, configurations, and user training materials as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Time & Labor (OTL) module.
- Solid understanding of configuration, time entry rules, fast formulas, and approval workflows.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Payroll and how OTL data integrates with it.
- Hands-on experience providing post-go-live support and resolving production issues.
- Familiarity with Oracle HCM Core HR and related data structures.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to time clock integrations (e.g., Accu-Time, Kronos, Oracle Web Clock).
- Experience with ADP or other payroll interfaces.
- Prior involvement in enhancement, upgrade, or testing cycles within Oracle HCM Cloud.
