Job Details

IT Research Analyst Albany, NY 12+ Months Contracting basis

Scope of Services
Provide access to research content, customizable templates, policies, job descriptions, and tools.
Deliver consulting-level diagnostic programs aligned with stakeholder needs and institutional priorities.
Facilitate advisory calls with subject matter experts.
Supply insights into IT software reviews, benchmarks, government-specific metrics, and contract reviews (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle).
Offer step-by-step IT project guidance, roadmaps, and milestone tracking.
Support leadership development, boardroom strategy, and 360-degree performance coaching.
Optionally, conduct one annual on-site IT workshop collaboratively with the ITS team.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting and research services.
Proven ability to support higher education institutions or public-sector clients.
Expertise in strategic IT planning, software selection, benchmarking, and vendor negotiation.
Capacity to provide executive-level support and custom advisory workshops.
Mandatory Requirements
Access to extensive IT research libraries and benchmarking tools.
Support for IT governance, staffing, budgeting, and performance tracking.
Capability to customize and share research assets internally without licensing restrictions.
