Job Details
Role: Sr. Mainframe Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term
Required skills:
- Exhibit strength understanding client s business.
- Apply the understanding of the client s business & systems implementation and translate the business requirements into technology solutions.
- Possess strong COBOL/DB2 skills and has experience designing complex system solutions.
- Apply knowledge of COBOL, Java, DB2, and JCL technologies to perform system impact analysis and prepare detailed system design deliverables.
- Demonstrates ability to collaborate with other team members to develop the solution.
- Ensures all requirements are addressed for each component in construction.
- Actively participates in design and documentation.
- Constructs, unit tests, and integration tests assigned components.
- Adhere to the software development life cycle processes including coordinating activities with clients, system interface partners, and other project teams including testers, architects, developers, and database administrators.
- Support production operations by researching production incidents, proposing and implementing corrective actions.
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working for government / Federal (Unemployment Insurance project) is a plus
