Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Sandy Springs, Georgia. In this position, you will play a key role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of custom applications and APIs to meet business and customer needs. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for custom applications and APIs.
Identify market trends and business opportunities, translating them into actionable product initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for development teams.
Lead cross-functional teams through the Agile or hybrid product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery.
Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to best practices, security, and scalability.
Oversee API lifecycle management, including design, documentation, versioning, and deprecation.
Coordinate testing, quality assurance, and deployment activities for applications and APIs.
Act as the primary liaison between technical and business teams, providing regular updates on progress and KPIs.
Gather user feedback to improve product features and inform future releases.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years focused on custom applications and APIs.
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI, and integration patterns.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with backlog grooming, bug tracking, and API development processes.
Experience in ensuring product scalability, reliability, and adherence to security standards.
