Job Details
Our client in Rochester, NY, is looking to hire a remote GenAI Solution Architect.
This is a fully-remote/full-time/2-3 month contract-to-hire position. Hourly range based on experience: $85-$90/HR
Core AWS Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of AWS AI/ML services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions)
- Solid understanding of AWS analytics services (Kinesis, Glue, Athena)
- Working knowledge of AWS storage solutions (S3, EFS, FSx)
- Experience with AWS networking and security services
Generative AI Expertise
- Deep understanding of generative AI capabilities, limitations, and use cases
- Experience with foundation models (Claude, GPT, Llama, etc.)
- Ability to translate business problems into AI solutions
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and RAG architecture patterns
- Understanding of model evaluation and performance optimization
Solution Design Skills
- Proven ability to scope and estimate complex technical solutions
- Experience creating detailed architectural designs
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Proficiency in solution cost modeling and optimization
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies
Client-Facing & Business Skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
- Skilled at extracting business requirements from stakeholders
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience in workshops and discovery sessions facilitation
- Persuasive solution presentation skills to drive client excitement
Recommended Certifications
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional (required)
- AWS Machine Learning Specialty (strongly preferred)
- Additional AI/ML certifications (beneficial)
Experience Level
- 5+ years in cloud solution architecture
- 2+ years of specific experience with AI/ML implementations
- Previous consulting or pre-sales experience is highly desirable
- Track record of successful generative AI project implementations
