Job Title: Technical Manhattan WMS Analyst
Location: Greenville, SC
Employment Type: Long-term Contract
About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Manhattan WMS Analyst with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (preferably Manhattan Active or WMOS), integration frameworks, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring seamless warehouse execution, data flow, and system stability across distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and warehouse operations to translate business needs into Manhattan WMS functional and technical requirements.
Configure and support Manhattan WMS modules (Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Labor Management, Slotting, Inventory Control).
Perform root cause analysis, debugging, and issue resolution for WMS-related incidents in production and non-production environments.
Develop and maintain MOCA scripts, SQL queries, and RF screen configurations for system optimization and process automation.
Collaborate with integration teams to support data exchange between WMS and ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.) via API, MQ, or XML-based interfaces.
Support system upgrades, patches, and version migrations ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Partner with business users to test and validate configurations, workflows, and reports before deployment.
Utilize JIRA/ServiceNow for ticket tracking, documentation, and change control management.
Participate in UAT, SIT, and post-implementation support for new warehouse rollouts or enhancements.
Generate ad hoc reports and analytics using SQL or Manhattan SCI for operational decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3 6 years of experience working with Manhattan WMS (Active, WMOS, or SCALE) functional and technical support.
Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, MOCA commands, XML, and Unix/Linux scripting.
Knowledge of integration concepts (API, EDI, MQ, Web Services) within a warehouse ecosystem.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment workflows.
Familiarity with labor management, RF device setup, and performance tuning.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; able to debug data and process issues quickly.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Exposure to Agile delivery models and cross-functional collaboration in warehouse projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Manhattan Active WM or WMOS 2018+ versions.
Knowledge of SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) or other reporting tools.
Familiarity with cloud-hosted WMS and DevOps pipelines (Git, Jenkins).
Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or 3PL warehouse operations.
