Sr. Electrical Engineer P.E. - (Hybrid/Remote)
We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our Team. Successful candidates will have experience in Electrical Systems Design, Leading electrical design teams for several concurrent projects. This individual will be a leader with the ability to assist the Electrical Manager in managing and guiding the Electrical Group.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
- PE License in ability to gain reciprocity. Preferred, Not Required
- 10+ years' experience in electrical design of complex buildings is required.
- Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and signal design, including life safety systems and energy monitoring systems
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm required.
- Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design software
Duties
- Primary responsibilities include Leading electrical design teams for several concurrent projects.
- Coordinating the work of Electrical Engineers with the balance of a multi-disciplined team throughout a project's development and construction.
- Coordinating workload to complete documents on schedule.
- Tracking the financial aspects of projects, coordinating, and adjusting the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within budget.
- Conducting schematic, design development and contract document working sessions with clients.
- Establishing and maintaining client relationships, participate in marketing, design, and production meetings with regard to electrical systems.
- Conducting reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
- Acting as a mentor for junior staff members.
