Job Description: Senior Network Modernization Consultant Enterprise WAN Modernization

8+ years in enterprise network architecture with hands on strategy and design for WAN transformation (MPLS SD WAN/NaaS, cloud optimized backbones

Expertise across multi cloud networking (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), Internet egress patterns, and voice workload evolution (on prem cloud).

Review data centers, HQ, remote offices; remote worker access (Global Protect, Ping MFA), backbone/MPLS topology, Internet egress, cloud connectivity (AWS East 1 & East 2), and the security stack (Palo Alto firewalls, Cloudflare services).

Demonstrate ability to produce financial models (TCO/ROM) and to communicate complex trade offs to executive audiences.

Comfort engaging vendors and leading architecture reviews with network/security leadership.

Deliver the written strategy, final diagrams, risk register, TCO model, 12 month modernization roadmap, and a concise executive slide deck. Present to leadership; secure acceptance.

Build a risk register with severity scoring; identify architectural/compliance/operational risks; articulate resiliency patterns across underlay diversity, on ramp redundancy, DC posture, remote failover, and SaaS/Internet access.

Produce baseline topology, application flow mapping, security policy mapping, and MPLS dependency report

Expertise across multi cloud networking (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), Internet egress patterns, and voice workload evolution (on prem cloud).
