Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.
Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Information Technology Support, Lead Specialist to provide advanced technical support and documentation maintenance for the C2WSPTT program. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance of the software and training materials, while also supporting help desk activities and customer service efforts both on-site and remotely.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Information Technology Support, Lead Specialist to provide advanced technical support and documentation maintenance for the C2WSPTT program. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance of the software and training materials, while also supporting help desk activities and customer service efforts both on-site and remotely.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the vSphere virtual machine (VM) test suites to support ongoing software development and testing efforts
- Conduct thorough testing of C2WSPTT software revisions to identify bugs and functionality issues
- Document and report all issues and bugs using JIRA or other issue-tracking systems
- Maintain and regularly update C2WSPTT technical documentation, including the Software User's Manual, Software Installation Guide, and Test Procedures
- Support the creation and maintenance of all contract-required deliverables, including Monthly Status Reports, Trip Reports, training agendas, materials, and system updates
- Deliver end-user training both on-site and off-site, ensuring comprehensive coverage of system functionality and changes
- Assist with help desk activities by responding to calls and emails related to system issues, user support, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and program managers to ensure high-quality software and support outcomes
- May require Temporary Duty (TDY) travel approximately 25% of the time
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience OR
- Associate's Degree and 14+ years of relevant experience OR
- High School Degree and 16+ years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience to include:
- Experience providing IT support, software testing, or technical documentation
- Experience working with vSphere and virtual environments
- Experience supporting DoD programs preferred Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, RMF, STIGs)
- Security + required
- Active Top Secret clearance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency with JIRA or similar issue-tracking software
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills
- Ability to conduct training and communicate effectively with end users
- Ability to think critically and solve complex issues
- Ability to work with other teams and stakeholders to ensure mission success
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
- Proven technical troubleshooting experience with hardware, software, and connectivity in secure environments
- Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain OCONUS travel documentation.
- Ability to work nights, weekend, and holidays as required.
- Ability to maintain and keep a secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain USAF CAC
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
