Description

This client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for integrated technology solutions, including but not limited to security systems, building automation, fire protection, and infrastructure projects. This role plays a critical part in supporting sales, project planning, and execution by ensuring proposals are competitive, profitable, and aligned with client requirements. This person will be an essential part of the team to drive revenue, win projects and show up best in front of customers.

Additional Skills: Proficiency in Estimating Software & Tools Experience with tools like CAD, Bluebeam, Accubid, PlanSwift, RSMeans, or other industry-standard estimating platforms. Project Management Awareness Understanding of project lifecycles, scheduling, and resource planning to align estimates with execution realities. Risk Assessment & Mitigation Ability to identify potential cost risks and propose contingencies or value engineering options. Time Management & Prioritization Capable of managing multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Data Analysis & Reporting Skilled in analyzing historical data, trends, and KPIs to improve future estimates and forecasting accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 3+ years of experience in estimating, preferably in low-voltage systems, security, AV, or infrastructure projects. Certifications (a plus): Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) PMP or CAPM (for project alignment) OSHA 10/30 (for safety awareness) Technical Literacy: Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. CRM & ERP Familiarity: Experience working within Salesforce, SAP, or similar platforms to manage estimates and proposals.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
