Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks a Vice President, Lead Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia
Design and deliver secure, robust, and innovative software solutions to build and deploy new software applications. Work as a cloud engineer and architect to develop innovative software solutions for the public cloud. Provide standard Infrastructure as code (IaC) modules. Architect and onboard public cloud services on Microsoft Azure and AWS. Design and build cloud service automations in support of applications migrating to Azure and AWS. Support enterprise application automation with Azure Landing Zones and Azure storage. Develop tooling and self-service capabilities. Integrate automation workflows into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. Troubleshoot cloud deployments and issues with cloud services. Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to enhance the developer experience. Contribute to major design decisions and product selection for Azure services. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $183,855 and $183,855 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Master's in Engineering (Any), Computer Science, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as an Azure Data Engineer, Technology Analyst, Cloud Software Engineer, or a related IT role. Requires three (3) years of experience with: Microsoft Azure including Azure CLI, Azure PaaS services and Powershell; Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, Ansible or ARM; working in an Agile or DevOps environment; Python; SQL; NoSQL; continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines; using test driven frameworks; Linux; Windows environments; and communicating technical concepts to various business stakeholders. Requires two (2) years of experience with: AWS; Java; Big Data; and .Net.
