Job Title: MDM Reltio Developer (Java/Kafka) Remote (USA)

Location: 100% Remote (USA only)
Duration: Long-term contract
Experience Required: 9+ years

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MDM Reltio Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity for a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) with Reltio platform, Java-based development, and real-time streaming integration using Kafka.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Reltio MDM solutions aligned with business requirements.
Integrate MDM systems with enterprise applications using APIs, Kafka, and other middleware.
Develop data pipelines and synchronization processes using Apache Kafka for real-time data integration.
Customize Reltio data models, workflows, match/merge rules, and survivorship logic.
Perform end-to-end data integration, profiling, cleansing, and quality management.
Develop and support Java-based microservices for Reltio and related components.
Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and QA teams to ensure solution quality.
Monitor and optimize Reltio performance and data accuracy across domains (customer, product, etc.).
Provide support for production issues and enhancements.

Required Skills:

9+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on development background.
3+ years of recent experience with Reltio MDM platform (configurations, data modeling, APIs, workflows).
Strong development experience in Java / Java Spring Boot / REST APIs.
Solid hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and integration.
Strong understanding of MDM principles: data quality, governance, stewardship, hierarchy management.
Experience with JSON, XML, REST, and API integration patterns.
Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and data architecture concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with Reltio API development & customization.
Exposure to data governance tools, metadata management, or data catalog solutions.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or other DevOps tools.
Experience in working with agile methodologies and distributed teams.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote environment.
