Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Network-Telecom Admin to oversee the installation, configuration, and management of network and data center infrastructure. This pivotal role ensures that critical services remain operational at all times. The successful candidate will administer and optimize network devices, manage daily data center operations, and lead complex projects to enhance system reliability and efficiency. This position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing for a balanced approach between office-based and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and ongoing management of network and data center infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.
  • Administer routers, switches, load balancers, WLAN, and other essential network devices, optimizing performance and security.
  • Oversee core network services including DNS/DHCP, IP address management, and application load balancing, ensuring robustness and scalability.
  • Manage daily operations within the data center, adhering to industry standards and maintaining high-quality installation practices.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics across network, telecom, security, and data center realms, minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Lead and coordinate complex projects related to network and data center enhancements, effectively managing resources and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality procurement, maintenance, and service delivery.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable IT environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing network and data center operations within a large-scale, complex environment.
  • Expertise in configuring and managing routers, switches, and other network devices.
  • Strong knowledge of DNS/DHCP services, IP address management, and network security principles.
  • Ability to lead and manage large-scale projects, coordinating multiple team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience with vendor and contractor management, including negotiations and contract oversight.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform advanced diagnostics on a wide range of technical issues.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing IT staff.
  • Availability for on-call rotations and after-hours support as required.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-provided visa sponsorship.

Pay Range: $52.64 - $68.39 per hour

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
