Job Details

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-
  • Lead application design to develop, troubleshoot, document, and test software applications. Leverage existing software to design and develop solutions for high-accuracy data integration for submission to government entities.
  • Support and enhance applications used by consumers and operations staff.
  • Develop data warehousing systems.
  • Integrate internal and external systems, mobile applications, devices and data marts to manage enrollment as well as capture and integrate data across all domains.
  • Execute all phases of the software development cycle including analysis, design, development, and automated testing.
  • Support multiple testing stages of the product, automate code deployment, and provide support in job monitoring and defect resolution.
  • Interface with remote teams, business owners, enterprise architects, security infrastructure, and end users in order to define project standards.
  • Utilize Agile methodology to deliver software products by participating in agile ceremonies to
  • plan, track, and engage stakeholders while influencing technical direction.
  • Capture all business rules and requirements within projects.
  • Resolve and provide solutions for any issues that arise.
  • Create correct technical architecture artifacts.
  • Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications-

Position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic and Communications Engineering or related plus five (5) years of experience in software development, or a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic and Communications Engineering or related plus two (2) years of experience in software development. Must have experience in UNIX, LINUX, AWS, Java, Kafka, Springboot, Oracle 12c, CI/CD, Behavioral Driven Development, XML DB, NoSQL, DevOps, Python, Jenkins, uDeploy, PL/SQL, Agile methodology, and in the healthcare domain.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
