job summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Web Manager with strong data analytics capabilities to oversee and optimize the performance of our university clients digital presence. This position is ideal for a candidate with 1-5 years of experience in website management and digital analytics who thrives in a collaborative, data-driven environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing our website-not developing it-and will use analytics tools to guide decision-making and improve user experience.

salary: $30 - 40 per hour

work hours: 9am to 5pm

responsibilities:


  • Oversee the day-to-day management and content coordination of the university's website, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure web content aligns with institutional goals and brand standards.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance using tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Power BI, and Modern Campus (formerly Omni CMS).
  • Translate web analytics and user behavior data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams, content contributors, and leadership to align web strategies with institutional priorities.
  • Maintain SEO best practices and monitor site health using analytics and web governance tools.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance site usability, accessibility, and engagement.


qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, data analytics, information technology, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in website management and digital analytics.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Power BI, and experience with content management systems (preferably Modern Campus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with SEO, accessibility standards (WCAG), and web governance is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.

  • Experience in higher education or similarly complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus (though not required for development work.
