Job Title: MES/MOM Engineer
Location: Liberty, NC
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated MOM Engineer .
This role is pivotal in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions.
The ideal candidate will collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive automation efficiency and digital transformation within manufacturing environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain MES/MOM to support manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with the MES Manager, Solution Architect, Project Manager, and Technical Leads to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions.
- Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into functional specifications for MES/MOM systems.
- Support full lifecycle development including analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Drive standardization and scalability of manufacturing solutions across sites.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of MES/SCADA-related issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Document system architectures, configuration, and change control procedures to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and usability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in MES/MOM systems implementation, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial automation.
- Experience with manufacturing systems and methodologies is a strong plus.
- Proficient in database management and scripting (SQL, Python, etc.).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate across multiple teams.
