Position: Sr. Financial SAP Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 3+ Months

Client won't be able to sponsor any visa

Background (Project/Initiative + Why the role is open): Supporting 2 projects- 1)migrating from mdm tool mobile iron to Intune 2)migrating workforce automation tool from title to redwood

Background

• Dan oversees all Global Business Services including OTC (order to cash), Finance Operations (AR,AP, Payroll), SAP
• Advantage has hired one SAP leader in this area since they transitioned to SAP and that's Dan. He's being pulled in a new direction so needs a clone of himself
  • Intermediary between functional and technical-specifically how SAP works and how they think it should work, etc.

• He's needing a Sr. SAP Techno-Functional Consultant
  • He's viewing this as the equivalent of a Director level role- needs strong business acumen. Someone who can have a conversation w/ the CFO and Developers
  • will not being doing any sort of coding/configuration, but needs to be able to sit and have a conversation with a developer and understand what they are doing
    • Example: does not need to read ABAP, but need to know what you can do with ABAP

• Modules- AP, AR, General ledger, inventory, logistics, Procurement, purchase orders, reporting (how flow of information to the datasphere works), MDM (specifically MDG)
  • Financial modules are much more important than the supply chain modules
