Job Details
Are you passionate about driving impactful sustainability initiatives? This role is pivotal in executing and supporting our large-scale supplier net zero engagement efforts, as well as advancing the organization's overall net zero strategy. Success in this position will be marked by your ability to swiftly close tasks, maintain proactive communication with a 48-hour turnaround time, and foster strong, positive relationships with stakeholders. Your performance will be measured by your agility in delivering results and the positive feedback from the teams you collaborate with.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and support net zero engagement with suppliers, share net zero expectations, and align on reduction targets.
- Prepare for supplier and stakeholder meetings, support presentation, or conduct meetings as needed.
- Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Support the Supplier GHG reduction program for indirect suppliers.
- Ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals through partnership with the strategic sourcing organization and select teams across the value chain.
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate engagement and understanding of the sustainability and emissions goals.
- Build and manage operational model and tools to enable supplier prioritization, engagement, and implementation.
- Maintain understanding of evolving sustainability policy and climate-related trends. Synthesize and share to drive strategic planning.
- Drive financial evaluation of emerging opportunities and risks. Support evaluation of sustainability reduction technology and partnerships.
- Implement procurement-related tool enhancements and manage associated change control in collaboration with other teams.
- Deliver continuous improvement. Scale tools, processes, and workflows to streamline sustainability management.
- Create and deliver Sustainability and Performance reporting dashboards. Perform analyses and present results using Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, ThoughtSpot).
Minimum Qualification:
- B.A. or B.S. degree in environmental sustainability, supply chain, procurement, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Strategic Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Performance Management, or Corporate Sustainability.
- Experience balancing multiple initiatives at once.
- Communication and process/project management experience.
- Experience in evaluating, developing, and implementing supplier sustainability and performance solutions.
- Procurement systems/processes/tools experience.
- Experience driving change and improving end-to-end processes.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OP monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
