Sr Wealth Management BA
Duration: long term contract
Location: Remote(PST hours)
Project Summary
Support integrations between existing trading platforms and Fidelity Wealthscape and associated applications. This will involve designing and developing new, as well as enhancing existing, post-trade feeds and access/validation points utilizing SSO. Trading platforms are vendor products, so being able to effectively work and build consensus with a diverse and disparate set of stakeholders is important in this project.
Position Summary
Gather requirements from business stakeholders and partner with internal and external business owners to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions and drive delivery with vendors (in conjunction with IT as appropriate). This role will partner with various vendor teams to ensure delivery and quality.
Core Responsibilities
* Define requirements and develop new and enhance existing processes, in partnership with internal IT and vendor teams.
* Work with clients to gather and define requirements for core trading systems, in partnership with teams across the organization.
* Develop an in-depth understanding of investment products, regulatory requirements, financial markets, and related investment data.
* Contribute to ongoing efficiency efforts through automation, process design, and implementation such as internal dashboards, QA testing (API, UI, etc).
* Assist in data architecture for distribution of investment data to internal clients and help define and build data structures for exposure of data to end consumers.
Preferred Skill/Experience
* Prior experience working in Wealth Management and Asset Management.
* 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst/Product Owner.
* Understanding and working experience in Front and Back Office teams.
* Experience in FIX is strongly desired.
* Experience in using and testing APIs is a plus.
* Experience with the Agile methodology of software development is a plus.
* Experience in articulating requirements to developers.
* Experience with QA and acceptance testing is a plus.
* Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
* Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
* Strong Communication (written & verbal) and excellent Stakeholder and Vendor management skills.
