We are seeking a skilled Engineer to be part of a core team that is leading the creation, development and enhancement of advanced robotic automation systems for a $500M+ division of a multi-billion dollar company. This center of excellence team will focus on implementing cutting-edge technologies that improve operational efficiency, elevate productivity, and uphold the highest standards of process quality.

Key Responsibilities

Robotic Automation System Design and Development:

  • Design, optimize, and manage end-to-end robotic systems across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
  • Enhance systems for optimal performance, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement control algorithms for robotic motion and task execution.

System Integration:

  • Integrate robotic systems into commercial laboratory or industrial environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Design user-friendly interfaces to simplify operation and control of automated systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing to verify system performance, safety, and quality compliance.
  • Analyze performance data and refine systems accordingly.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-10+ years of experience in mechatronics, automation, mechanical design or robotics
  • Enjoy building, creating, designing modular robotic stations (3D printing, CNC, lasers, prototypes, fabrication, design from concept to creation)
  • Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Understanding of safety standards and best practices related to robotic systems.
  • Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
