Job Details

We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced iOS Architect to lead the technical direction and architectural design of our flagship mobile applications. As a key technical leader, you will be responsible for defining the blueprint that our engineering teams will follow, ensuring our apps are robust, scalable, and built on a foundation of excellence. You will mentor other engineers, drive innovation, and make high-impact decisions that shape the future of our mobile products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design & Strategy: Design and oversee the implementation of clean, scalable, and maintainable application architecture for our iOS platform. Define the technical roadmap and long-term vision.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of iOS developers on best practices, coding standards, and advanced architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture).
  • Proof-of-Concept & Prototyping: Lead the research, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies, frameworks, and tools to solve complex challenges and enhance our applications.
  • Code Quality & Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processes to ensure high-quality, stable releases.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineering teams to translate business requirements into a cohesive technical strategy.
  • Performance & Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other system-level issues to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience.
  • Stakeholders & Internal account management: identify risks on the teams under your supervision (delivery risks, attrition risks) and communicate them properly to the account management and client stakeholders.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5+ years focused on native iOS development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Swift and deep experience with Objective-C.
  • Proven experience designing and shipping complex, high-traffic iOS applications available on the App Store.
  • Strong understanding of architectural patterns like MVVM, MVC, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
  • Extensive experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Foundation, Core Data, and Core Animation.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural decisions.
  • Proficiency with performance tuning, memory management, and multithreading.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, networking, and data persistence.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern declarative UI frameworks like SwiftUI.
  • Familiarity with reactive programming frameworks such as Combine or RxSwift.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Fastlane).
  • Experience with dependency management tools like Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and backend services.
