Job Details

Job Title: Infrastructure Solutions Architect
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid - Onsite Tue/Wed; local candidates within 2 hours only)
Interview Type: Virtual via MS Teams
Top Skills Required:

  • Red Hat OpenShift & Kubernetes: 3+ years

  • Apache Kafka: 3+ years

  • Open-source SQL Databases (Presto DB or PostgreSQL): 4+ years

  • API Integration & Data Validation Scripts: 2+ years

  • Preferred: Shell scripting and crontab knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes

  • Install and maintain Apache Kafka and open-source SQL databases (PrestoDB/PostgreSQL)

  • Configure and maintain data sharing tools; analyze and support API integrations

  • Troubleshoot issues with network communications, DNS, firewalls, and certificates

  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to install, configure, and support software

  • Work within a Linux-based environment to install software and apply security patches

  • Assist with user provisioning and provide operational support for installed tools

  • Create technical documentation including System Security Plans and architecture assessments

  • Offer recommendations to optimize tool usage and technology integration
