Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT infrastructure projects in the construction domain. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple stakeholders, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Based in San Antonio, Texas, this position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects while driving efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and oversee IT infrastructure projects within the construction sector, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while adhering to established project management methodologies.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, define service-level agreements, and oversee performance.
Facilitate regular updates, meetings, and reports to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.
Coordinate resources across internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to optimize efficiency and meet project goals.
Monitor project expenses, track budgets, and provide financial forecasts to ensure cost management aligns with approved limits.
Define and uphold quality standards for all deliverables, ensuring compliance with security protocols and industry regulations.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and apply lessons learned to future initiatives.
Stay informed about emerging infrastructure technologies and industry best practices to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects within the construction industry.
Proven expertise in managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in infrastructure technologies such as servers, network equipment, security access control, and AV systems.
Familiarity with construction processes, building codes, and facility management practices.
Experience with project management tools like Atlassian Jira and methodologies such as Agile Scrum.
Solid knowledge of budget management, risk assessment, and change management processes.
