Job Title: Senior Scientist Antibody Engineering
Location: Tarrytown, NY
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60 - $63 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8 AM- 5 PM M-F

Expertise in antibody and protein engineering, who will help development of bi- and multi-specific antibodies in designing, producing, and evaluating engineered antibodies.

Responsibilities:
Expertise in antibody and protein engineering, who will help development of bi- and multi-specific antibodies in designing, producing, and evaluating engineered antibodies.
- Applying molecular biology expertise to design new bi- and multi-specific antibody
- Producing engineered antibodies panel through mammalian expression and purification
- Performing in vitro cell-handling experiments, including cell transfection, and cell transduction with viral vectors
- Running and troubleshooting assays, including ELISA, FACS, Western blotting, qPCR
- Collaborating with TFA groups to align on fit-for-purpose engineered antibody designs and coordinating cross-departmental research objectives
- Analyzing and presenting data at group and departmental meetings, and maintaining records in electronic lab notebooks
- Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, or a related field, or an MS with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
- A strong record of innovation and research accomplishments in the field of antibody/protein engineering or flow-based bioassay
- Experience in working with mammalian cells, FACS and various cell/molecular techniques (transfection, RNA/protein analysis, immunostaining)
- Strong background in with cell-based assays and FAC
- Experiences molecular biology with DNA cloning, protein production and purification
- You have strong organizational, time-management, and presentation skills
