Senior Swift Developer - Application Automation
Location: Onsite - Beaverton, OR
Contract: 6-month W2 contract
Pay Rate: $85-$91/hour (W2)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours

Russell Tobin is supporting a leading consumer technology organization in the hiring of a Senior Swift Developer to support advanced application automation initiatives. This role is ideal for a highly experienced Swift engineer who thrives in fast-paced, enterprise environments and enjoys building reliable, performance-focused automation at scale.

Role Overview

In this role, you will develop Swift-based application automation within an existing automation framework. You will translate application behavior, workflow documentation, and recordings into high-quality Swift code that automates system workflows, validates performance, and ensures long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Swift-based application automation within an established automation framework
  • Translate textual workflow descriptions and video recordings into production-quality Swift code
  • Automate prescribed application workflows end to end
  • Measure application and system performance as required
  • Perform full system setup, including application and content installation
  • Perform system takedown, including application and content removal
  • Debug failing automations and implement fixes
  • Update automations to accommodate new application behaviors, including UI changes and new pop-ups
  • Ensure automation reliability, stability, and performance accuracy

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional Swift software development experience
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-ready software
  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using AI or LLMs to generate or assist with production-quality code
  • Experience with computer performance measurement and optimization
  • Experience with application automation frameworks or automation tooling
