You will work closely with senior client leaders to turn business goals into clear technology plans and organizational changes. Your role includes explaining technical ideas in simple business terms to align everyone-from developers to executives-around a shared vision for innovation and growth.

A key part of your job is managing change in complex, unclear client environments. You will help organizations navigate uncertainty, build support among stakeholders, and embed new ways of working to ensure lasting success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full digital transformation programs, aligning business processes, organizational change, and IT strategy to create real client value.
  • Act as a link between business and technology teams, turning executive strategy into detailed technology initiatives and plans.
  • Communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Build strong client relationships and influence decisions at the executive level.
  • Lead change management efforts tailored to each client's culture, helping teams adopt new technologies and processes confidently.
  • Manage ambiguity and resistance by encouraging open communication and continuous feedback.
  • Drive adoption through training, leadership support, and incentives to ensure technology investments deliver lasting impact.
  • Collaborate across Oliver Wyman's teams and client groups to provide integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions.
  • Mentor and develop consultants and managers, promoting a culture of quality, teamwork, and learning.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and trends to help clients anticipate disruption and seize innovation opportunities, while recognizing that core business and organizational challenges remain consistent.

Sample Projects
  • Data Governance for Banks: Led a data governance program to fix regulatory issues, aligning business, IT, and compliance teams to improve data quality and reduce risk.
  • FinOps Practice: Built a financial operations practice to cut cloud costs by applying rightsizing, reserved instances, and process improvements.
  • AI/ML Business Unit: Created a new AI/ML business unit, developing strategy, organization, and a prototype that proved business value and gained executive support.
  • New Application Launch: Help design, architect, and lead development of a new greenfield mobile app to help a large F100 company enter a new market
  • Cloud Migration: Managed a complex migration of legacy systems to the cloud, balancing technical work and change management to minimize disruption.
  • Developer Productivity: Redesigned the software development process using new tools and methods to boost productivity and speed up feature delivery.
  • Legacy Application Modernization: Led modernization of key applications to improve scalability, agility, and integration with new technologies.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in management consulting, technology strategy, or related roles with a proven record of leading complex digital transformations.
  • Strong understanding of how business strategy, org change, and IT architecture work together.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts simply to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to turn high-level strategies into detailed technology roadmaps and project plans.
  • Experience across multiple industries and ability to adapt best practices to different business environments.
  • Strong leadership skills managing large, cross-functional teams and driving change in complex settings.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for problem-solving and delivering client value.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with emerging technologies like cloud computing, AI/ML, or data analytics
  • Knowledge of agile methods and modern IT delivery frameworks.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding that while technology changes fast, core business and organizational challenges stay mostly the same.
  • Advanced degree in business, technology, or related fields is a plus.
