Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Drive the design, development, and implementation software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Lead all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Lead code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Lead design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Set the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration. Anticipate technical dependencies with other teams to deliver engineering outputs in line with business requirement. Lead project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Manage stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements. Recognize risk in roles and operation, follow control procedure framework, execute root cause analysis on risk.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Java; React; implementation of highly scalable systems, design, development, and implementation in JAVA; leading technical iteration on the design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment of engineering solutions; developing software using Agile methodologies. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: developing code to automate tasks in AWS; cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities; determining risk of connectivity requests; troubleshooting network connectivity in public Cloud environments; public and private cloud Cybersecurity in a mission critical environment including analyzing complex data systems root cause analysis, developing, improving, and maintaining technical engineering documentation, and developing solutions and triaging issues; Public Cloud Networking, Identity and Access Management for network proxies.
