Job Title: Desktop Support Technician - Entry Level
Location: This is a 100% on-site position in Austin, TX.
Job Type: Contract (~18 months)

Your Opportunity

We're seeking an entry-level Desktop Support Technician to join our fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about IT support and eager to gain hands-on experience in a large-scale enterprise setting.
What You'll Do
  • Provide real-time, hands-on support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and personal printers.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X systems.
  • Handle technical issues both in-person and remotely, including phone-based support.
  • Fulfill hardware move/add/change requests and maintain an up-to-date asset management system.
  • Accurately log and document work using service management tools (e.g., Remedy, Clarity).
  • Collaborate with a team of technicians to deliver reliable IT services to internal users.
  • Maintain a customer-focused attitude and deliver exceptional service.
  • Work designated hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, or 1-3 years of recent experience in enterprise desktop support.
  • Strong knowledge of PC support, including Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with both hardware and software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-demand, collaborative environment.
