Project Overview
We are seeking a seasoned consultant to lead the migration of a significant number of SharePoint sites to Google Sites.
This role is critical to our broader transition to Google Workspace and will involve close collaboration with a system integrator and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of successful migrations between these platforms. Key Responsibilities
Conduct discovery sessions to assess existing SharePoint environments
Design and implement a scalable migration strategy to Google Sites and Google Drive
Rebuild site architecture and content in Google Sites with a focus on usability and performance
Collaborate with a system integrator and internal teams to ensure seamless execution
Provide documentation, training, and post-migration support
Identify and resolve technical issues during the migration process
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience migrating SharePoint sites to Google Sites
Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Sites, Drive, Docs, Admin Console, etc.)
Familiarity with SharePoint site architecture, permissions, and workflows
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Must be available during Eastern Time Zone business hours
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with system integrators or in cross-functional project teams
Knowledge of third-party migration tools or custom automation scripts
Background in digital transformation initiatives
