Job Details

Role: MSD D365- Solutions Architect (F&O and Retail)

****Mandatory experience- Retail (Commerce/ POS) module experience is mandatory apart from F&O. pls get a brief write up from candidates elaborating their experience on Retail module.

This is a techno functional role. Hands-on technical expertise is required apart from domain experience.

Remote work with ocassional travel to Chicago, IL

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Experience in planning and managing multiple parallel projects related to ERP platforms. Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP preferred (D365 ERP)
  • Experience managing teams that are geographically separated and working in different time zones.
  • Experience working with C level customer stake holders
  • Proven ability to discuss and drive meaningful conversations, conduct workshops with large business groups cutting across various Retail and Finance(F&O) functions and create road maps
  • Minimum 10+ years of working experience in retail industry for retail customers on ERP or other platforms
  • Understanding of End To End retail business process (In food and beverage industry would be an advantage)
  • Through understanding of Inventory management, Purchase Process, Retail Sales Process with POS, Warehouse Management and Backoffice is needed
  • Ability to walk customer through the retail business process (B2B and B2C) and suggesting improvements and bringing efficiencies
  • Ability to compare products and functions and bring the best of various products to customer as "One solution" and/or recommend innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication and ability to articulate well No compromise

Other essential skills:

  • As it relates to Retail Industry understanding and knowledge on the following are expected
  • 2-3 years of working experience on Dynamics 365 Retail, Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Retail preferred
  • Strong knowledge in Inventory Management, Purchase process/Sales process with POS/MPOS
  • Understanding of how these various retail processes/functions land on the financial side for bookkeeping
  • Logical mapping of number sequence, Dimension setup, ledger setup, Various tax setup, etc.,
  • Understanding on data migration and how to execute
  • Ability to document and prepare presentation on the processes, gaps, architecture to be able to compare and explain As-Is vs To-Be
