responsibilities:
As a Consult Partner, you'll be at the forefront of digital innovation for leading manufacturing businesses. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead customized client engagements, delivering valuable insights, strategies, and roadmaps that bring business value through modern and emerging technologies, particularly within the AI and digital transformation landscape.
- Business Development & Growth: Leverage your existing network within the manufacturing and automotive industries to identify, originate, develop, and close new business deals with C-level clients. You'll team with account leadership to drive account planning and lead pursuit teams in developing winning proposals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, senior-level business and technology relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring continuous value delivery.
- Industry & AI Expertise: Bring deep, differentiated industry expertise in manufacturing and AI, offering compelling success stories and points of view on successful digital modernization principles. You'll be adept at identifying "land and expand" opportunities to drive larger transformational programs.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor small, multi-disciplinary teams of practitioners on complex projects, contributing to your career advancement in one of the fastest-growing IT consulting businesses globally.

qualifications:
- Consulting Prowess: Extensive experience (at least 10 years) in technology consulting, preferably with a global consulting firm, with a proven track record of achieving sales, business development, and delivery success.
- Manufacturing & AI Authority: Differentiated industry expertise in the manufacturing and/or automotive industries, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in shop floor manufacturing and Industry 4.0 / digital manufacturing transformation. You'll possess a deep understanding of manufacturing technology solutions and the application of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic AI.
- Transformation Driver: Demonstrated record of creating and executing client transformation programs, combining consulting, implementation, and managed services expertise.
- Deal Shaping & Negotiation: Proven ability to shape large, complex, multi-competency deals across various technology practices (Cloud, Core Enterprise & zCloud, Network and Edge, Applications, Data & AI, Security & Resilience, and Digital Workplace Services) and alliance partners. Experience with Statement of Work/contract development, negotiation, and closure.
- Client Relationship Building: Established history of developing and expanding client relationships with an executive focus, communicating effectively at all levels of the organization to drive transformation and growth.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Ability to develop compelling business cases with robust return-on-investment analyses.
- Continuous Learner: A mindset geared toward continuous learning, with a strong desire to understand relevant business insights for clients, competitive trends, and emerging technologies like data lakes and modern software engineering principles (agile, cloud-native, DevOps).
