Education - Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and/or a combination of relevant certifications and extensive hands-on experience.

Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert

Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Migrations from VMWare to AZURE

 

Required Experience

This position requires the following experience and/or knowledge:

1. 5+ years of experience in AZURE IaaS and M365

2. Clear, concise verbal and written communication and documentation skills

3. Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Azure AD, and Microsoft Teams.

4. Excellent analytical and root cause troubleshooting skills for multi discipline issues(identity, mail flow, endpoint, security).

5. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams lifecycle management, collaboration features, and integrations.

6. Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for M365 and SharePoint automation.

7. Familiarity Cloud Security Posture Management and Microsoft Purview compliance and security tools (DLP, sensitivity labels, auditing, etc.).

8. Support for various Linux Distros and Microsoft Windows Server 2016 through 2025.

 

Preferred Experience

 

1. Experience with hybrid Active Directory environments

2. Experience with hybrid Exchange environments

3. Agile project management or ITIL certification

4. VMWare VCF Experience

5. VEEAM VRO Experience

 

Primary Job duties and tasks

 

Serve as the primary architect and SME for Microsoft AZURE IaaS including Network, Firewalls, Virtual machines, App Services, Automations and Security of cloud resources.

Serve as the primary architect and SME for M365 (OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Mail)

Manage M365 tenant-level settings and ensure compliance with security and governance policies.

Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance, availability, and reliability issues.

Administer Microsoft Teams, including lifecycle management, policies, guest access, Entra ID, MFA, SAML integrations and Identity Protections

Provide user training, documentation, support, and guidance for SharePoint, M365 and AZURE IaaS features and best practices including compliance.

Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to enforce data loss prevention (DLP), retention, and access policies.

Lead or assist in migration projects (e.g., file shares to OneDrive and SharePoint Online, Teams transitions).

Stay current with Microsoft roadmap changes and assess the impact of new features on the organization.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues escalated from Tier 1/2 support. Coordinate with team leads to publish instructional material.

Provide quality assurance and technical assistance in the development and revision of

instructional materials.

Follow established plans and processes. Provide recommendations for updates as requested.

Attend and document meetings related to assigned projects. Schedule and lead meetings and

provide agendas, presentations and minutes as requested.

Convey project information to Child Support Program staff, contractors and other partners as

requested, to include sharing specific skills and unique knowledge required to develop instructional

material for the Child Support Program.
