Title: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

Location: Los Angeles, CA - hybrid- 4 days in office

Type: Full-Time

Overview:

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for companies revenue. This position develops sales strategies and client loyalty and identifies opportunities to drive revenue growth and maximise profitability.

The CRO works closely with the CXO to deliver the Corporate Strategic Plan and will report on revenue by client at Senior management meetings and as required at Board meetings.

The role will ensure all sales-enablement functions are aligned (eg Sales Operations, Pricing and forecasting, Marketing, Contract management) while partnering with the Client Operations Team to develop methods to aid in client retention and account growth.

This position has responsibility across all clients, developing a strategy to target untapped business opportunities with existing clients to grow revenue and share of wallet. This requires in depth understanding of each client and their business to deliver solutions that enhance their business.

The CRO is also responsible for driving new revenue verticals targeting new client sectors and new product and service opportunities and supporting M&A activity to enable expanded revenue streams.

Overall health of Client Relationship keep one step ahead of the client needs, anticipate upcoming requirements, keep clients apprised of developments (new products and services, personnel changes, any issues that would impact their business)

Lead the account planning and strategy for all existing accounts using industry knowledge, customer knowledge, and analytics.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of client business strategy and needs, to present as a strategic and trusted partner.

Shape sales team strategy for existing accounts and partner with Client Operations on servicing these accounts.

Manage Senior Exec-level client relationships with focus on understanding gaps in servicing and upselling.

Identify new business development opportunities with existing clients, determining strategic direction and tone.

Set annual budget and deliver detailed monthly revenue forecast.

Manage RFPs and contract negotiations.

Monitor competitor activity, identify threats to revenue, adjust pricing strategy according to market trends.

Manage the global sales team to drive business growth across all customers.

Support Country Managing Directors to drive local revenue growth

Manage Sales Operations, Contract mgt, trade marketing to ensure effective sales support.

Work with M&A department to identify expanded revenue opportunities through acquisition or partnering.

Attend trade shows and industry events to be the face of company.

Ability to provide commercial leadership to the organization working collaboratively with other departments and teams

Ability to work well with peers, make thoughtful decisions, and appropriately respond to difficult situations.

Competency in the execution of large, dynamic, and complex sales negotiations.

Providing leadership internationally managing client relationships and teams across the globe.
